Power Season 6 Episode 12 RECAP - Is Tommy dead? Did Ramona kill Ghost?

PAZ is out for justice and revenge after Angela's death as Power reaches episode 12.

Fans of the Netflix show saw her form an alliance with Warner to arrest Ghost for Angela's murder - but things fail to go to plan.

In the opening of the episode, entitled He Always Wins, Paz is living in Angela's apartment with her father and son.

Her son, Junior, is out of school because Angela's pension and benefits have been held back as she's under investigation.

As Angela was evidently the breadwinner of the Valdez family, this also means her father is unable to be looked after in the care home.

Things go from bad to worse for Paz when she learns James St Patrick is campaigning to become the Lieutenant Governor of New York.

She then goes to visit the person who hates Ghost the most - Tasha.

Paz tries to persuade her to come and board and together they can "blow James up" - but Tasha says she already has nothing, and with James in prison she will have even less.

Is Tasha putting Paz off going after Ghost because she wants to finish him off herself or is she genuine?

Paz then sets off to shoot James with a gun (is it just me or is she just not scary in the slightest) but bottles it when an ambulance speeds past.

Looking for support, she visits another person obsessed with James - Cooper Saxe.

But she's disappointed when Warner tells her he's been fired and lets slip that Saxe "botched" the investigation of her sister's murder.

Demanding to know answers, she storms over to Saxe's apartment who breaks it to her that the autopsy report revealed James didn't kill Angela.

Meanwhile, back at the Valdez apartment money is tight and Angela's benefits are still being held up.

But Junior, (hasn't he grown up fast) is desperate to go back to school and home isn't the best place for his grandpa.

Paz realises there is one last hope - Warner. She offers to expose Angela, but not in exchange for her cash to be released, solely for revenge.

In horrific scenes, Angela's body is exhumed (we all knew it wasn't the last of that mobile phone) and the device is found.

But it all resorts to nothing as the sim card is damaged so they can't identify who exactly Angela was contacting on the phone.

Paz goes mad and demands to be wired up to visit James at Truth, in a bid to make him confess to his criminal activities.

We're then at the scene in episode 10 at the bar and I think James has his suspicions as he smoothly dodges her questions and instead confesses his undying love for her sister.

Paz has dug herself an even bigger hole (will she ever learn) as now there is clear evidence Angela was "dirty" so her money will continue to be held.

Just as things couldn't possibly become any worse for her, Papi is taken ill as her son breaks the news to him that Angela is dead and Rodriguez (don't these two look more like sisters than Paz and Angela?) pays her a visit to tell her there just isn't enough evidence to pursue James.

She looks like she's finally about to accept defeat until Tasha informs her that James has a new love interest.

Paz sees red again and asks Tommy to kill him for her, but that doesn't end well either, so she goes back to the apartment and cries herself to sleep while Junior listens.

She then awakes to find the gun missing (how long is this day?) before snatching it from her son and reassuring him she can do the job of killing Ghost herself.

Paz then bumps into Ramona in Truth's toilets who tells her that some people are simply "unstoppable".

Is she referring to James or herself here? Something in those eyes looks like she might not be as clean as we all think.

In an unstable state of mind, she follows James in a huge crowd while clutching the gun in her bag (do they not stop and search at Truth?)

But she bottles it again and Paz looks like she's finally got her priorities right as she comforts her father at his bedside.

LATEST POWER NEWS

Later, as she lays Angela to rest (again) she learns that James has left her some money in his will.

But it's a blink and you'll miss it scene as Tommy's mum, Kate, is also at the solicitor's office and can't wait to tell "her other son" about some good news.

Has Ghost left Kate money in his will or is she there for Tommy's will?

The latter seems unlikely as we know Tommy hated his mum and we don't know of another son apart from him.

Paz finally receives the news she's been desperate for, and of course goes looking for Tommy, but is shocked to find his place has been completely cleared out.

Is he dead, or has he done a runner? Could James and Tommy have faked their own deaths and fled New York? So many questions.

After this week's episode we know just five suspects remain - Saxe, Tommy, Tate, Tasha and Tariq.

But something tells me neither of these five pulled the trigger.
