Alex Greathouse was born on 14 October 1991 in Gonzales, Texas, United States, and attended Gonzales High School. He passed out of high school in 2010. From Texas to San Antonio, he moved to spend the latter part of his life in 2019.
He studied at Dental School at Incarnate Word where received his certification as a Dental Assistant. Alex worked as a life skills educator with kids at ResCare where he shared his compassion and kindness with those who needed it most.
Alex passed away at the age of 31 on 4 March 2023 after battling with kidney disease. Alex Greathouse revealed his kidney disease on Facebook on 19 November 2022,
“My name is Alex Greathouse and I need a kidney if you know anyone that would like to be a live donor please reach out to me I have been on dialysis for a year now and it’s been hard if you were to see me you wouldn’t see how much I have been going thru I always try and keep and smile on my face and help everybody, I’m asking that you share this of you know me. And I’ll get with you to see if we’re a match.”
He continued,
“My blood type is O positive. I’m going thru the hardest phase of my life and would appreciate if anyone would care to donate.”
Alex Greathouse’s first visitation will be held on 11 March 2023 between 2:00 pm to 3.00 PM at Dominion Church Of God In Christ, 3023 Martin Luther King Dr., San Antonio, TX 78220.
Alex’s memorial service will be held on 11 March 2023 starting at 3:00 PM at the first visitation place.
